Hi, Sorry about this spam message. This person simply subscribed to the list and then sent the message. I've now changed the list options so that new members are moderated by default. This may result in some new members' first real posts to be accidentally discarded along with the spam that's held for moderator approval, but I don't know of another way to defend against this sort of abuse.
