I forgot to mention a few things. Here is the console output after I clicked the Start button. Note the second writeln() statement is never reached. -------------------------------- [httpserver]$ ./testserver before start -------------------------------- I've test this under Ubuntu Linux (64-bit) and Windows 2000 (32-bit).
