I think at least one potential GDB crashing bug was fixed in the Pascal expression parser: http://sourceware.org/ml/gdb-patches/2010-03/msg00314.html I don't know about other Pascal-specific changes, but since I'm not subscribed to the gdb-patches list I don't know about all patches that were committed.
