I don't know, and actually don't care. :-) What I want to use it for is purely for installation/config style applications. The user will be in-front of that machine - in our scenario. Other users have also requested DirectFB support, to use fpGUI on some mobile linux devices that don't have X Window install - though I know nothing about mobile devices so I can't comment on pros/cons of those. Side note: Talking about "old style" console applications. Last week I was on leave and dug around in my garage. I found a crate of my old original software. Boxed sets of Turbo Pascal 6, Turbo C++ 3, Windows 3.1, OS/2 2.1 (CD-Rom version), OS/2 Warp v3 (diskette version (55 diskettes to be exacty!)), OS/2 Warp Connect v3, OS/2 Warp v4, Visual Age C++ for OS/2 etc... Wow, all those old software brought back good memories. :-) Regards, - Graeme - -- fpGUI Toolkit - a cross-platform GUI toolkit using Free Pascal http://opensoft.homeip.net/fpgui/ _______________________________________________ fpc-pascal maillist - fpc-pascal@lists.freepascal.org http://lists.freepascal.org/mailman/listinfo/fpc-pascal
