I would like to use Lazarus as a simple IDE with input/output from/to a "dos" box (like the old FreePascal IDE). My code compiles and runs with Lazarus/FreePascal but a blank window pops up instead of the desired dos box. What do I have to do to get the desired behavior from Lazarus? I am running Lazarus/FreePascal on a Vista-64 machine and have the latest versions of each installed.
