Another part of the answer from Joost would be: our documentation provides
some information on differences among the different modes. As mentioned by
Joost, there is no need to choose some special mode unless you try to
solve a particular problem (like need for compatibility with certain
behaviour or functionality supported in other compilers). If you have such
a problem, you can search the documentation and try to find the answer
there. Otherwise go for objfpc mode for object pascal or the default fpc
mode for procedural programming.
