make install does not explicitly delete anything, at most it
overwrites existing files. I'm not aware of the installed paszlib
units changing place though (the packages reorganisation did not
change that location).
Different versions may have been the problem, such as /usr/local/lib/
fpc/2.2.0, /usr/local/lib/fpc/2.3.1, ...
