Apart from many other tools, you could e.g. use my bincomp (http://www.volweb.cz/xhajt03/bincomp.zip). Compile it for your platform and run, it should be more or less self-explaining. I've only used it under OS/2, DOS and Win32 so far, but it should hopefully work on other platforms too.
