This is one of many reasons why I trust FPC over Delphi (Borland/CodeGear): the great and noble motivation of the core developers. I do respect such motivation. Not many developers are able to survive with such motivation. In many cases, such motivation only last at the beginning of the development (v.1.0?). But next, they go commercial (if the product is successful on the market) or go disappear (if the product fails). Hopefully, I wish FPC won't go neither commercial or disappear.
