No, because then you also have to concentrate on the commercial/

If you want to sell less quality products thats right. It is much more easyer if you have products that have a good quality and if you have people who are
interested in it.

You always have to do book keeping, tax administration etc.

I don't know how you get your money for your life, but you can spend much time in a thing doing it good with less financial support, it works, but you have to make too many compromises in the rest of your life. That is my experience.

This is simply a hobby of mine. I don't feel like I'm compromising anything. I'm also not getting financial support to read books or go to movies, nor would I want it (because then I'd be forced to go, even if I don't feel like it). Right now I'm fairly active again in FPC, but there have been periods where I was less active because I didn't feel like working on it. Thanks to the fact that I have no obligations, this is no problem.

Anyway I would like to spend (some) money for it because it is worth it.

I'm happy you like it! At this time, there is no way to speed up or improve development by spending money on FPC-related things though. Maybe that will change at some point in the future, but for now that's how it is.

And you are free to feel dutiful or not (that is in your mind, not in my).

If I would ask money for something, I would feel responsible for it.
