Hi all!! Returning to fpc, and it's worth, as usual ^_-. I have started using the 1.9.2Beta version for windows and for linux, and i want to make some comments regarding problems i had during the compilations:
- [linux] There is some comments at pthread.inc that i had to uncomment in order to compile my code (=> JEDI-SDL) - [linux] The gettimeofday() routine is lost from the unix unit, and the one used in oldlinux does not work. Also, I cannot find (outside of oldlinux) where is the GetEnv() routine. - [both] During the compilation of my code i had the following error (both in windows and in linux, this is the error from the windows compiler): << Compiling estadistica.pas estadistica.pas(58,51) Warning: Automatic type conversion from floating type to COMP which is an integer type Compilation aborted estadistica.pas:64 Runtime error 207 at 0x004F177B 0x004F177B 0x0042DD7F 0x004258AA 0x004531DD 0x00435C35 0x004531DD 0x00436FFD 0x004531DD 0x00436FFD 0x004531DD >> ...sorry if i cannot give an snippet, i tried to isolate the error, but no use. I can only say that I have to compile the code two times, in the first round hangs, in the second one it uses the old libraries and everything goes smooth. Cheers, Rodrigo "Rui" R.
