Starting compiler. While a fairly recent 1.9.x usually works, only a 1.0.10 compiler as starting compiler is guaranteed to work. Your 1.9.x (probably 1.9.0 or a 1.9.1 of before december) is too old. If you had 1.0.10 installed before 1.9.0, it is probably still in /usr/local/lib/fpc/1.0.10 or so.
