Hello!
I would like to get some information about Palmtops (preferrably running Linux) and how to program with FPC on them. I possibly will get an order (currently not sure) to develop a new software (everything linux based) for a small company. The external members/workers shall get a little palm to record data and they will return them every evening to the office, where their record will be transfered to the server,
This is what I think about, most will be programmed in FPC with MySQL in the background for the office, but I have no idea about how to do it with Palms. What's about Zaurus? This one _is_ already Linux based, which will possibly make life easier. Is there a way to use FPC 1.0.4 on i386 to create code for palms? (cross compiling?)
Any useful answer is welcome. Thanks!
The problem is that the Zaurus as well as the new Palms use processors of the ARM family and ARM isn't currently supported by FPC.
