You would need to configure all the hardware manually. Seems like a huge
task.
That should tremendously reduce the boot time. Currently Pi took 20
seconds to boot to text shell of the default OS Raspbian. Hear for
ArchLinux, it takes 10.
How long does BeagleBone take to boot to shell?
I'll ask.
Karlheinz right now is doing some experiments with Debian and the
original Angstrom Distribution.
After this he will try to install fpc and Lazarus.
