As far as I know the Cortex M series cannot run generic ARM code; it
only understands the Thumb2 instruction set.
FPC supports Thumb-2 code generation and arm-embedded supports also some
stellaris types (LM3S* types) so it should be possible with little
effort to compile programs with FPC for this device. But maybe Jeppe can
say more.
