It's a list for general discussion among programmers of GNU packages. Past discussions included choice of accessibility technology, autoconf, plug-in interface standards & preventing non-free plugins, "can someone help with XYZ?", pkg-config, making the GNU system more coherent for developers, how to use OpenJDK & Classpath... Having more GNOME devs involved in this coordination would be useful for the projects of existing list members as well as the projects of the new members - whether it's general discussion of developing free software operating systems, or specific threads about graphical interfaces or packages used by GNOME. There is also discussion of the GNU Hackers Meetings - where GNOME hackers would obviously be very welcome - and get-togethers at other events such as FOSDEM. Plus discussion of Summer of Code applications, licensing, and copyright notices. -- +32 485 118 029 (<-NEW), http://ciaran.compsoc.com Please help build the software patents wiki: http://en.swpat.org http://www.EndSoftwarePatents.org Donate: http://endsoftwarepatents.org/donate List: http://campaigns.fsf.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/esp-action-alert _______________________________________________ foundation-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/foundation-list
