I think Wikimedia is not a club , and there's no fee for collaborating in its development. There is a difference, it seems to me, between a "fee" and a "donation". I believe that FT 2 has explain it better than I. ;-) Marcos (aka Marctaltor)

The ideas of the election committee deserve more consideration. If donors can vote isn't that similar to a membership the Foundation had planned in its very beginning?
