Getting replies to an email you haven't seen is excruciating :) It also makes sense to have this be the "verbose" list while that has just the announcements (which was the idea I thought it was meant for). Subscribing foundation-l to Wikimedia Announcements-l just seemed like the easiest way to do it at least from my end :). I actually wonder if Sue didn't get the email because of her settings or email client.. I'm not sure if it is in the mailing list settings or if it's gmail but I do not get a copy of an email I sent out and if I remember correctly there was a mailing list option for that... I don't always remember correctly though :).
