Well, in my experience, when somebody starts out with "what the fuck" and ends up talking about consequences, it is rarely a purely academic inquiry into organizational practices. But if I read it wrong, I'd be glad to apologize. I think the people working on this (Aaron and Howie in particular) are both talented and hardworking, so I feel protective of them. I'd like them to spend a long time working for the Wikimedia Foundation, and anything that might push against that is going to rile me up some.
