Could you try ping svn.eu.apache.org and ping svn.us.apache.org and if one of them doesn't work and if you don't mind let us know what your IP address is? (http://www.whatismyip.com/ if you need it). I've seen similar behavior from some source IPs, wondering if something's wrong on the ASF side. -Bertrand
