Hi, FYI, see http://apache.org/dev/writable-git for the current status of writable Git infrastructure at the ASF - hope this clarifies things.
The good news for Flex is that supplying volunteers to help infra with Git is not required anymore. I still think it's best to wait until after graduation to make the move, to minimize the disruption period. -Bertrand
