I fixed the build on Windows in the release4.9 branch.
When running mustella on the develop branch we discovered that some of the
changes we took would break things for folks. I'm trying to verify my fixes
for the breakage and will check those directly into release4.9 as well.
The main thing that broke was the way we truncate text in Label. It might
now truncate too soon, and I think I have a fix to restore the old behavior.
