OFC uses a tweening<https://code.google.com/p/tweener/> library <https://code.google.com/p/tweener/>, completely written in AS3, which again is using the (Joo)Flash API, which again is drawing on an HTML5 canvas. Despite of the many abstraction layers, it even works fast enough on an iPad 2. So why should we need jQuery animations?!
