I think that in the end a total rewrite should be done and better to do it directly in AS4. As I said some weeks ago my wishes for this project would be to get:
* SWF and HTML/JS output. (this will make traction since people going to HTML/JS are suffering the lack of OOP). * For SWF, build on top of Stage3D / Workers. Start Flex from scratch would bring all things that are make flex a killer platform and remove all deprecated and legacy coming from Flash MX days.
