Apache Flex is suppose to support Flash Player from 10.3 to 11.1, that's the reason why I built and test one version with the playerglobal 10.3 and ran the test with FP 10.3

Hi,

When you say, "a version of the sdk in 10.3 and one in 11.1", I'm not
exactly sure what you mean. As far as I can tell from README in the Apache
Flex download, we are only targeting Flash Player 11.1, although 11.3 will
probably work as well since I've used that at one time or other. Mustella
tests should only be run with the Apache Flex SDK.

When you run Mustella and you get failures, be sure to then run with
-failures to re-do those. Chances are those will also pass.

Peter,

Yes, it's weird that hasn't been discover before, would it be worthy to
run
mustalla tests once again with a version of the sdk in 10.3 and one in
11.1
as it would as well confirm or not my results that the tests are broken ?

That looks like it was related to a change I made to get spaces-in-paths
to work for Mustella. I modified CompileMxmUtils to take ArrayList as an
argument, but none of the builds I did ran into this. Very strange.

Thanks for making the correction Alex.

In SwfLoaderTestAdapter, it should be "compm.compile(loader_mxml_file,
new
ArrayList(Arrays.asList(args)));" instead of
"compm.compile(loader_mxml_file, args);" because the compile method of
CompileMxmlUtils is defined like that "public void compile(String
mxml,ArrayList optionalArgs) throws Exception", the optionalArgs is
defined
as an ArrayList whereas args is defined as String []

unfortunatly, the only things I had time to do today was checking out
the
develop and trunk branch once more and even if I was able to build them
easily, as soon as I tried to run the Mustella tests, I had java
errors,
I'll try once again tomorrow but today, even if it was supposed to be
simple, everythings worked in the wrong way.

Sync up with SVN and try again. Carol put in a check to make sure you
are
using embedded fonts.

It would be unfortunate if there are significant rendering differences
on
10.3. Use the ImageDiffAIR tool in the mustella/as3 directory and see
if
the differences are just in edges of the glyphs.

Doesn't it mean the playerglobal and the flashplayer debug version is
the clue ?

I've still got the console logs but it doesn't tell too much, for the

That's it and that's the same kind for the others.

For the embedded font, I'm not sure about what you are talking, if it
is the flex-fontkit.jar, I've got it.

All tests are passing for Peter, Carol and I. Next time send the
failures information from the console log just before this summary.
It tells more about what failed.

My guess is that you haven't installed the embedded font libraries.
All mustella tests should use embedded fonts in order to render more
consistently across OS's.
