Hi Mark, I think I have a handle on it and, I hope to be checking it in today. What I've done is allow spaces in the path "above" mustella. For example, I'm running a test with the directory, /Users/pent/apache with spaces/, so that everything, including the Flex SDK has this path in it.
The tricky part isn't parsing the arguments as much as it is threading the argument list throughout the code without completely re-writing what's there (which might be the wiser thing to do in the long run).
