Oh, for sure, JIRA can be for current work.

To me JIRA is a "to-do" list tracker with some overhead.  IMO, if you check
in something and misspelled a word in a comment, I should just tell you or
just fix it for you.  No need to create a JIRA for that because we're on it
and taking care of it right now.  The longer it will take before it gets
resolved, the better it is to use JIRA.  So I see it as a judgment call and
wouldn't load down JIRA for this because you and I will hopefully just get
it done in short order.
