I don't know how close Nick is to getting this done, but it might be time to
consider doing this in AS, at least temporarily. The mirrors.cgi just seems to
get a country code, gets the list of mirrors for that country from mirrors.list
and randomly picks one. Seems like we could try to use one of the free GeoIP
webservices to get the country code and download and parse mirrors.list in AS.
