Nick, I think I figured out the MacOSX path issue for the binary and source kits.
I think the path should be http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi?path=incubator/flex/4.8.0-incubating/b inaries/apache-flex-sdk-4.8.0-incubating-bin.tar.gz rather than http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi/incubator/flex/4.8.0-incubating/binari es/apache-flex-sdk-4.8.0-incubating-bin.tar.gz The first path works on chrome, firefox and safari. The second path only works on chrome and firefox.
