You know, you're right. I think I was reacting to carol's response to it and thought that the word vaporware was in there but it doesn't seem to be.
I do think that the term vaporwear would have been unprofessional as it would imply an unnecessarily jaded view that they'll never get them done. I think vaporwear is not a neutral or factual term, but an accusation that things won't get done. But I actually don't see it anywhere on the page so I take my comment back. I'd say that objectively the tone seems playful to me, though it might be easy to miss-interpret the "have you seen me's" as taunting, rather than just a fun way to put things. as Gilda Radner would have put it, "Nevermind"!
