Carol Frampton commented on FLEX-25:
------------------------------------

We've already done this at Adobe in our Flex 5 branch. We can get the changes
here after we finish the initial code donation.

And yes, Gordon, TLF does not compile cleanly. I asked the TLF team a couple
of years ago to clean up the warnings and at the time I was told they couldn't.

> TLF 3.0 fixes a ton of bugs. Flex SDK would be better with this version of
> TLF.

> Alex Harui says:
> > Questions:
> >
> > 1. What kind of tests does this include?
> > 2. Is that separate from Mustella?
> > 3. If yes, will that suite be donated to Apache Flex as well?
> >
> TLF is verified by Flex via Mustella.
> TLF may get donated to Apache. The current plan is to find the time and
> verify there aren't any blocking legal or business issues.
> TLF often changes in ways that you can't swap in versions of TLF without
> changing SDK code.
> Gordon Smith, Adobe says:
> BTW, I don't think the TLF code in SDK 4.6 repo compiles cleanly for player
> 11.1 I've seen deprecation warnings about TLF using player APIs that have
> been deprecated.
