But you make a good point, I should have clarified that we can't change the
spec of the ActionScript language, but we can define a new language
specification that Flex would be based on, which is what I'd like to do with
Goshawk.

I understand your point, however - the suggested compiler then would not
be able to
compile Adobe ActionScript 3 code. And if you loose that particular
feature you can
conclude that its okay to drop all features and just start over et all
with haXe, a already
defined language.
