Nice work! The new logo has a modern shiny plastic/rubbery feel to it. I love it! It increases the depth of field perception on the whole composition giving it more strength and presence. The two color/gray-scale version looks particularly impressive with this solution.
I don't know about the rest of the group, but, for me, this logo depicts something that I'd like to hold in my hands and play with! Looks so realistic and fun! I want one! And please let's not have another round of votes to decide if this is acceptable! Let's just wait to see if there are any opinions against and accept this. Please!
