IMO the logo contest is clearly targeted at individuals, not companies.

http://incubator.apache.org/flex/logo-contest.html clearly states that
"the authors of the selected Apache Flex logo(s) will need to donate
them to the Apache Flex project according to the Apache individual
contributor license" with a link to
http://www.apache.org/licenses/icla.txt - this is clearly for
*individuals*.

So, as one of this project's incubation mentor, from this project's
point of view I think credit goes to the actual author of the logo,
not to your company.

However, it is very cool that your company makes it possible for its
employees to contribute to Apache projects. The usual way to recognize
that is in an credits file like the one at
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/cocoon/branches/BRANCH_2_1_X/CREDITS.txt
- adding such a credits file for Flex might be a good idea in this
case.

This emphasis on individuals vs. companies is a constant in Apache
projects, meant to make sure our foundation stays independent from any
corporate influence. Hope this works for you.
