The arrow is kind of a bi-product of the tilted F, which is indeed
consisting of connected bulding blocks. (There is also a "hidden" x in
there.)
Since the arrow is not the main point about the logo, making it pointing
backwards is not a very huge issue. But I am well aware of the up/right
pointing arrow "rule" in left-to-right society ;)
Thanks for the feedback guys! ;)

I agree with Doug. Don't put so much value into the direction an arrow
is pointing. It's a valid point in some cases but not necessarily an
overriding issue in every case.

I wouldn't worry about the direction of the "arrow", I think this logo
looks good as if, it implies both a Tetris-style building block, as
well as
a lego-style composition of smaller components into a larger whole.
Secondarily it can be seen as a left-pointing arrow, but I don't think
that's the overriding message. And even so, I don't personally think a
left
arrow have that much of a bad connotation. I wouldn't mess with it if I
was
the creator.

I kind of like your stylized "F" 8 bit spaceship thing...
However--and I feel like a broken record at this point--arrows that
point
to the left or down are generally considered to have negative
connotation
(at least in the US). We want onward (to the right) and upward (up);
not
backward (to the left) and downward (down).
