I should have phrased that differently: if some (say at least 3) PPMC members think it's a good idea to have a users mailing list now, and agree to moderate it, I'd say let's create it. If those PPMC members then spend their days having to say "sorry there's no Apache Flex release yet" it's their problem...OTOH having a users list early helps starting to create a community of users there, so I don't see any downside to that, as long as volunteers realize what they're getting into. -Bertrand
