Hi all, Thanks for the replies. I understand the general sentiment, it was not unexpected. I'd like to reply to certain things that were mentioned.
The flac and flac-dev mailing lists are mentioned as one here, but I think the flac mailing list is far less valuable than the flac-dev list. flac (the users mailing list) had 2 discussions in the last 3 years. I'd say that list can go anyway. The fate of flac-dev is something that I think can be discussed. Considering the conditions of using GitHub, it would be possible to use an alternative instead. Xiph already has a gitlab, which I think would solve the terms and conditions part, but this is currently effectively "invite only" because of the amount of bot accounts. There are also 'libre' alternatives to github, like Codeberg. That of course doesn't solve the other raised issues. If anyone has other suggestions, let me know. Once again thanks for the replies. Kind regards, Martijn van Beurden _______________________________________________ flac-dev mailing list -- flac-dev@xiph.org To unsubscribe send an email to flac-dev-le...@xiph.org
