Hi I noticed that this page is very out of date and in by keeping within the interest and spirit of free open information corrections should be made.

Please see http://alac.macosforge.org and http://alac.macosforge.org/trac/browser for more. The Apple Lossless Audio Codec sources are available under the Apache license.
