Today, before seeing any on the emails, I decided to try it again. This time I gave the negative feed unit a little tug and pushed it in...it may have moved a bit. Then it worked perfectly with no errors. I suppose the scanner may have been moved a bit and the film feed unit may have gotten slightly dislodged. Sorry I wasn't more resourceful prior to seeking help. OT: With that scan, I just made a beautiful print of Albuquerque's El Vado Motel neon sign (lights off), shot during late afternoon with sunlit subject and dark overcast sky beyond. Lucky light! The old classic Rt 66 motel is threatened with demolition. The Nikon scanner with ICE worked well, and I didn't have to remove a single dust spot. Printed 12x18" on Epson W/C. Film was Fujifilm 100.
