My Nikon LS4000 has analog gain controls accessible through the Nikon scanner driver. I can sometimes turn down the anaalog gain to get more detail in light areas. Does your software and scanner have such a feature?
Don't remember exactly the options on VueScan (have it and use it...) but isn't there a way to turn the exposure way down (Manually) or set the brightness to be very low? --Bill At 11:03 PM +0000 11/19/04, Al Bond wrote: >Hi, > >When my wife went on a trip to Spain, a problem with her camera meant that >most of her slides were 1-2 stops overexposed.
