The first thing to do is to _NOT_ use ICE. The next thing to try is setting the exposure manually. Turn off "autoexposure before scan" (somewhere in preferences) and then set the analog gain. Use the crop tool to crop out a small section of the frame to make testing faster. You can also try scanning it as a color negative or as a color positive, and picking whichever of those looks better. David J.
