If you have a large number of slides to scan, you'll probably be better off paying someone to scan them with an automated machine. It's a lot of work to do otherwise. I've had decent results with the old Kodak PhotoCD (not PictureCD), but that was a few years ago, and I'm sure there are better services out there no. -- Ciao, Paul D.
