The Microtek ScanMaker 8700 flatbed scanner has a glass, slide-in tray especially for scanning 8x10 transparencies. On the other hand I have measured its Dmax at less than 2.3 and your negatives must certainly have more than that.
Perhaps you can find in your area a service bureau that has one of the high-end flatbed scanners such as the Creo Eversharp, Aztek Plateau, or even just one of the higher end ScanMakers that's built around the same chassis as my 8700. --Bill At 3:09 PM -0800 1/17/04, Brad Davis wrote: >Hi, I have about 100 8X10 negatives (B&W) That I need to scan. -- ====================================================================== Bill Fernandez * User Interface Architect * Bill Fernandez Design (505) 346-3080 * [EMAIL PROTECTED] * http://billfernandez.com ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe by mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], with 'unsubscribe filmscanners' or 'unsubscribe filmscanners_digest' (as appropriate) in the message title or body
