Can you please show or describe some examples of scenes that might have a 10-stop range of brightness in them and how the brightness range was measured? As I said earlier, in photographing in mountains and deserts, metering with a 1-degree spotmeter, I don't recall exceeding 6 or 7 stop ranges. I'm not doubting that 10-stop scenes exist, I'm just questioning how common they are. Are you saying that they are quite common in your experience? If so, what are your common subjects?
