Well, that's true for XP Home. But, as I understand it, XP Pro is to replace Win 2k and is in fact NT6. Usually, MS discontinues OS's they've replaced. But the various W2k Servers are still current, and they still might sell W2k Pro to placate the inertia of corporations.
