My SS4000 (not Plus) does not have any way to manually change the power requirement but it did come with two power cords, one for the USA and one for, I believe, use in Europe and England. The contents list in the manual states "power cord (several provided to accommodate variations in power sources)" so the implication is that it automatically adjusts for power variations.
