BTW, I'm looking forward to Ed's response to this question related to use of 35mm panoramic images:
QUESTION FOR ED HAMRICK: I want to fashion a 35mm panoramic holder for my Minolta Multi Pro. Since VueScan seems to "calibrate" the aperture of the film holder (I'm new to VueScan, but that's my initial observation), can I fool it by opening up the 35mm filmstrip holder? Does VueScan ignore the holder information provided by the notches on the holder (evidently the hardware "reads" holder identity this way)? If VueScan does use this information, do you think I'll have luck with a cut open film aperture and holder identification modified to match the medium-format holder? I'd rather modify a $54 35mm filmstrip holder than pop $275 for the accessory holder. M. Can anyone confirm if this is true as there is no reference to this capability in any of Ed's documentation of Vuescan that I can find. Thanks in advance.
