Hi Bob, The scanner SHOULD be designed so the sensor etc. is motionless (as in paused) when the exposure is taken. This shouldn't be an issue...if the scanner is designed right. Good thought though! It's not the sensor that moves, obviously, but the film. Exposure can vary drastically, but it's in the millisecond range, like 6-60 if I remember right.
