I'm investigating the "blue negative" image problem with my new Dimage Scan Multi Pro, so I just downloaded the VueScan 7.5 beta. VueScan "sees" my Acer SCSI scanner, but not the Firewire Minolta. Mine is on the list of supported Firewire scanners for VueScan.
