Ed, I'm not sure if I quite understand the new batch scanning options. My assumption was that I would be able to batch preview a strip of film, go back and make settings for each previewed frame, and then batch scan the entire group. My initial experiment seems to indicate that the option generally works like that with the exception (at least) of the TIFF size reduction. When going through a group of images I tend to save some smaller than others and some as 24 bit and others as 48 bit, depending on whether they will be just for reference or whether I may print them (and at what size I intend to print them). It would be very efficient, therefore, to be able to set size and bit depth for each previewed frame. If it is possible to make this happen it would be very helpful to me and imagine to some others.
I'm using 7.5-5 beta on a Sprintscan 4000, Win 98. Thanks, as always, for the great program. -- John Matturri words and images: http://home.earthlink.net/~jmatturr/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe by mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], with 'unsubscribe filmscanners' or 'unsubscribe filmscanners_digest' (as appropriate) in the message title or body
